About

Software is one of the ways I create.

I'm Jean Marcelin Beaubrun — a software engineer, product builder and entrepreneur. I'm drawn to understanding how systems work, and to the moment an idea stops being an idea and becomes something people can actually use.

The products I build live in very different worlds — a board game, a content feed, a payments bridge, a navigation system for goals. That range is intentional. Like an artist releasing very different works, I don't pick problems by industry. I pick them by curiosity: when I find a problem worth solving, I like to see how far I can take the idea.

My path runs through building products, years of software quality assurance in a serious operational environment, entrepreneurship, and now graduate studies in Artificial Intelligence. That mix makes me think past the code — about users, reliability, economics and how a product actually reaches people.

When something I'm building absorbs me, I go deep. And then I step back — travel, music, people, life. Both halves matter; the work is part of the life, not the other way around.

Not every idea needs a big structure to begin. Some of my products started as experiments; some may grow into independent organizations. This site is where the whole body of work lives, whatever each product becomes.

I'm still building, learning and experimenting — I hope you enjoy following the journey.
